The Petrochemical Technology Department’s educational objectives state the general goals of the program. Department’s graduates are expected to:

On completion of this programme, the students will have the

  1. 1)  Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering
  2. 2)  Ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
  3. 3)  Ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs withinrealistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical,

    health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability

  4. 4)  Ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems related topetrochemical industry
  5. 5)  Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
  6. 6)  Recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning
