HS8581 PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION 
OBJECTIVES:

The course aims to:

 Enhance the Employabilty and Carer Skils of students
 Orient he students towards groming as a profesional  Make them Employabilty Graduates
 Develop their confidence and help them atend interviews sucesfuly.
UNIT I
Introduction to Soft Skils- Hard skils & soft skils – employabilty and carer Skils—Groming as a profesional with values—Time Management—General awarenes of Curent Afairs
UNIT II
Self-Introduction-organizing the material – Introducing oneself to the audience – introducing the topic – answering questions – individual presentation practice– presenting the visuals efectively – 5 minute presentations

UNIT III
Introduction to Group Discusion— Participating in group discusions – understanding group dynamics – brainstorming the topic -– questioning and clarifying –GD strategies- activites to improve GD skils
UNIT IV
Interview etiquete – dres code – body language – atending job interviews– telephone/skype interview -one to one interview &panel interview – FAQs related to job interviews
UNIT V
Recognizing diferences betwen groups and teams- managing time-managing stres- networking profesionaly- respecting social protocols-understanding carer management-developing a long￾term carer plan-making carer changes.
