Parenting Matters- an organization dedicated to empower parents and parenting!
We are talking about an organization- a team of 7 women who work dedicatedly on nurturing families towards full potential.
It was very impressive to learn about Parenting Matters and studentsfocus is overwhelmed to write about them.
They are there to facilitate and not to preach. Parenting matters team is on this mission since 2004.
Empowering parents in a non- profit philosophy by giving maximum facilitation in any issue pertaining to parents and children is the USP of parenting matters. This is done through their small group discussions and workshops where every parent is considered a resource.
Their core program concentrates on:
- UNDERSTANDING AND MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE CHILD
- COMMUNICATION THAT BUILDS CONNECTION BETWEEN PARENT AND CHILD
- BUILDING INNER DISCIPLINE IN CHILDREN
TEAM:
The Parenting Matters team has 7 facilitators who are certified parent educators (certified from Echo Parenting and Education, Los Angeles) including two experienced counsellors, a psychology major and a professional social worker. All facilitators have worked in conducting workshops and running long-term programs with parent groups in schools,neighbourhoods and in business organisations.
They are a beautiful team with strong external resources as well.
StudentsFocus is amazed at their work and wishing them great work in future 🙂
