Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam 2016 VIT Entrance Examination 2016 (VITEEE 2016) to offer admissions to aspirants in BTech programmes available at its Vellore and Chennai campuses.

VIT Entrance Examination 2016  is a computer-based test (CBT) and its language of instruction is English only. The duration of this entrance exam is two and a half hours.

Stage 1.New User Registration Enter all the relevant details carefully. A password will be sent from VIT to your registered mobile no. and email id. All the VITEEE communications will be sent to your registered email id and mobile no. Please provide valid email id and mobile no.

Stage 2.Confirmation of password Login to Step 2 with the email id and password received from VIT.

Stage 3.Filling Online application form Provide all the relevant details carefully, before submission. An application number will be generated after submission.

Stage 4.Mode of payment DD Mode – Get ready with DD of Rs. 960/- (50 USD for NRI candidates) drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore. Online mode (Net banking / Debit card / Credit card)

Stage 5.Photo & Sign Upload Passport size colour photograph with 10 kb-300 kb (Dimension – 3.5cm X 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg format. Signature of the candidate with 10 kb-300 kb (Dimension – 6cm(width) X 2 cm height) in jpg/jpeg format. Selfie photo is not allowed.

Note: Online mode(Net banking / Debit card / Credit card) – Do not send the hardcopy of the application form after the process of completion. DD Mode – It is mandatory to send the hardcopy of the application form along with the Demand Draft (write your name and application no. on the reverse side of DD) after the process of completion.

‘NIOS’ candidates are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2016. EDIT option (except email id, Mobile no. & address) will be available upto 29th February 2016. (applicable only for online applicants) – Edit option is available after payment only.

Apart from exam centres in India, VIT Entrance Examination 2016 is also held at two international test centres which are Dubai and Kuwait. Last year, 155 students from the Dubai centre took the exam and 18 candidates from this centre even qualified for the counselling.
VIT Entrance Examination  2016 exam dates have now been declared on the official website and according to the website, the exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 6 to April 17, 2016.
